Moon shaped vessel.

The shape of this jar was inspired by a set of ginger jars found in a local antique shop.
Hand thrown on the wheel with black stoneware clay. Glazed in my Glenbrittle glaze; a subtle pale blue base with soft pink hues at the edges. Grey speckles show from the clay beneath. The glaze has been poured over the form; a beautiful effect has been created where the layers have merged.

This pot has a dark mark on its flank, you can see this in the fourth picture. This has been reflected in in the price.

Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade.
My maker’s mark is on the base. The pot in the picture is the pot you’ll receive.
