Hand thrown artisan bowl.
Inspired by making these for a restaurant, I threw these on my potter's wheel from cream speckle stoneware clay. Left to dry for a several days before the base was trimmed. Fired to 1060 degrees in my electric kiln it was then decorated with a ‘splash’ of chalky white glaze. The underneath has been left unglazed revealing the natural texture of the clay. High fired a second time to 1240 degrees centigrade. There are two types available, both with subtly different glazes; white satin, white speckle.

Made with lead free glazes. Each unique, the bowl you receive may differ slightly from the bowl in the picture. Hand wash.
